In the latest episode of the Podcast Katie and I are joined by Michelin star chef Tom Brown. We caught up with Tom at his restaurant - Pearly Queen in Shoreditch - to chat all things Bottom.
As ever we discuss all things Bottom, including Tom's earliest memories of the show, his favourite episodes quotes and moments, and how prominent a role food plays in many of the episodes of the show.
We also discuss Tom's other comedy favourites and the opening of his new restaurant Tom Brown at The Capital.

I am delighted and excited to be joined by Adam McLean, the producer of the upcoming Bottom retrospective - Bottom Exposed.

I go all the way back to 1994 to recall how the 10 year old me first stumbled across Bottom one Friday night. 
I discuss how waiting for Red Dwarf led me to Bottom, cheese on toast, the back flipping BBC2 icon, swimming lessons, a VHS of Apocalypse and how I don't actually remember which episode was my first Bottom.
From marvelling at naughty words and cartoon violence to my very first crush, My First Bottom marks the start of my Bottom journey that has led me to becoming The Hammersmith Hardmen.

Episode two: Rik Mayall Scrapbook

Rik Mayall Scrapbook will be known to many followers of The Hammersmith Hardmen as a brilliant resource for all things Rik.
From their website (rikmayallscrapbook.com) to their YouTube and other social media pages, it is a place that brings together lost recordings, newspaper and magazine cuttings and a whole host of Rik and Bottom memorabilia.
In today's episode I am joined by Lucy from Rik Mayall Scrapbook to discuss all things Rik and Bottom. Including:

Helen Lederer will most likely be remembered by Bottom fans from her appearance in the episode Digger as Lady Natasha Letitia Sarah Jane Wellesley Obstromsky Ponsonsky Smythe Smythe Smythe Smythe Smythe Smythe Oblomov Boblomov Dob, Third Viscountess of Moldavia. 
In this very special first episode Helen talks me through her comedy career. From finding her way as a young female stand up comic, through her many television appearances and focussing on her roles in Bottom, to the current place in time as she gears up for the release of her memoir "Not That I'm Bitter" later this year.
